General Privacy Policy
TruStone Financial is committed to aggressively protecting your private financial information. We do not disclose non-public information about our current members or former members to any third party that is not essential to the credit union´s operations except as permitted or required by law. Therefore, it is not necessary for our current or former members to opt out of information sharing by TruStone Financial.
We will use the non-public personal information you provide only as appropriate in the normal course of our business to provide the products and services you have requested or may benefit you. This includes information from our wholly-owned affiliates. Sometimes it is necessary to provide non-public personal information about you to a third party, such as to a vendor or service company that we hire to provide support or services on our behalf and as necessary to process a transaction that you have requested. We may also disclose non-public personal information we collect to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf. When we enter into these relationships, we require them to adhere to strict standards regarding the security and confidentiality of member information. They cannot release or use your information for their own purposes or sell your information to any third party.
Federal regulation requires that we provide you with details on what information we collect about you, and when that information is shared.
The type of non-public personal information we collect:
- Information we receive on applications or other forms to establish and administer your accounts
- Information about your transactions with us or others
- Information we receive from consumer reporting agencies
- Information about your transactions and experience with Mortgage Lending Services, Inc. and CU Financial Services, Inc., our wholly owned affiliates
We may disclose all of the information that we collect, as described above. The circumstances under which we share non-public personal information:
- When we receive your prior consent
- When necessary to complete a transaction you have initiated
- When reporting as permitted by law to a credit bureau or similar consumer reporting agency
- As authorized or required by law or in response to the judicial process
However, we will share transaction and experience information only with our affiliates.
We maintain security standards and procedures to protect unauthorized access to your confidential information. These security standards and procedures include procedural, physical and electronic safeguards. Our employees´ access to non-public personal information is limited to what is needed to transact your business. We regularly update and test our procedures to improve the protection of your information and to assure its integrity.
We continually strive to maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date information about you and your accounts. If you ever believe that our records contain inaccurate or incomplete information about you, please contact us using our address, website or toll-free telephone number listed below.

Internet Privacy Policy
TruStone Financial is committed to protecting the privacy of its members and other users of its website. Member data is not sold to third parties. It is shared only with vendors providing a service to TruStone Financial members, such as a statement processor or ATM network.
The credit union has adopted the following privacy policy for its online communications:
- General website at www.trustonefinancial.org.
Visitors to TruStone Financial's website remain anonymous. We do not collect personal identifying information about visitors to our website. Our servers collect standard nonidentifying information about visits to the site, such as date and time visited. This information is used to compile standard statistics on site usage. - Personal Access Home Banking (PAHB) website
Personal identifying information is collected when a member accesses PAHB sections of TruStone Financial's website. This information enables TruStone Financial to regulate entry to the PAHB portions of the website and to measure member usage. Any personal identifying information gathered during an online session is held confidential at TruStone Financial. TruStone Financial does not sell member data to third parties, whether it is gained online or already exists on the host system. - E-mail and online forms
Personal information gathered from Email and online forms sent by members and non-members may be used by the credit union's staff to answer questions, follow-up on suggestions or complaints, or to provide the requested service. Please be advised that Email is not secure against interception by unauthorized individuals. Never send confidential information such as account numbers, Personal Identification Numbers (PINs), credit card numbers or requests for financial transactions through Email to the credit union. If you wish to communicate sensitive or personal information, please call TruStone Financial's Contact Center at (763) 544-1517 or (800) 862-1998. Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm and Saturday: 9:00 am - NOON.

Federal Reserve Check Processing Change
Effective Saturday, December 12, 2009 the Federal Reserve added additional (ABA) routing numbers as local. Checks drawn on financial institutions located in this larger geographic area will now be considered "local." This change will shorten the hold time for some of your deposited checks.
