CU Forward Day Food Drive

In the spirit of CU Forward Day on Monday, October 11, we will be supporting our local communities by hosting a food drive! Bring non-perishable food donations to your neighborhood branch between Monday, October 4 and Saturday, October 16. Items donated will go to Second Harvest Heartland in Minnesota and the Shalom Center in Wisconsin.

Accepting non-perishable items and cash donations from October 4-16. Please visit any of our branch locations to drop off your donation.

 
  • Second Harvest Heartland - all of Minnesota locations are collecting items. Most needed items:
    • Canned protein: tuna, ham or chicken, beef stew, chili, peanut butter, canned/dried beans
    • Fruits and vegetables – 100% fruit juice, canned fruits and vegetables, instant potatoes
    • Complete meals – pasta & canned sauce, boxed meals, hearty soups
    • Grains – cereal, rice
    • Special diet foods – gluten-free, low-sugar, low-sodium
  • Shalom Center – Visit any of our Wisconsin locations to donate items. Most needed:
    • Canned fruits and vegetables.
    • Healthy snack items.
    • Special diet foods – gluten-free, low-sugar, low-sodium.
    • Hygiene items, such as shampoo or body wash. (Please keep these items separated from food.)
