Every year on Indigenous Peoples’ Day/Columbus Day, thousands of credit union employees in the Midwest and beyond volunteer at local non-profits for a day of service known as CU Forward Day. This year, COVID-19 has limited the number of volunteering opportunities, but TruStone still wants to give back—and we need your help!
We’re partnering with KDWB and Firefly Credit Union to raise money for Second Harvest Heartland. Instead of closing our branches to volunteer, we’re inviting the community to donate their loose change at a TruStone or Firefly location in Minnesota as part of KDWB’s Change for Change event.
Help fight hunger in our communities! Donate coins at a TruStone location or a Firefly Credit Union location on Monday, Oct. 12.
The time is always right to make a difference in our communities, but this year, with hunger on the rise and more people not knowing where their next meal is coming from, the need for action is even greater.
