Fall Food Drive: Help Support Our Communities!

TruStone will be hosting a fall food drive for local food shelves during the week leading up to CU Forward Day, a day of service held annually on Indigenous People’s Day/Columbus Day.

Please donate non-perishable food items at a TruStone branch or our Corporate Center from Monday, Oct. 5 – Monday, Oct. 12.

What to Donate

All non-perishable food items are greatly appreciated! However, there are some items that the food shelves we are supporting need more of at this time.

Most-needed items to bring to Minnesota branches include: canned meat (chicken, tuna or salmon), peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, instant potatoes and rice, cereal and oatmeal, and low-sugar, low-sodium gluten free items.

Most-needed items to bring to Wisconsin branches include: every month, they focus on a particular food item. October is breakfast foods (i.e. cereals, oats, pancake mix & syrup). Other non-perishable items will also be accepted.

Cash donations will be accepted.  We will not be able to accept checks.

All items donated in Minnesota will go to Second Harvest Heartland, while all items donated in Wisconsin will go to the Salvation Army Cold Spring‘s food shelf.

Help us provide for our neighbors in need!

Another way you can help fight hunger is to bring your loose change to a TruStone branch in Minnesota on Monday, Oct. 12. Learn more!
