TruStone Financial announces new Chief Operating Officer

(PLYMOUTH, MINN.) January 3, 2014 – TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union announced today that Hans Iverson, former Senior Vice President of Lending, has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer.

Iverson joined TruStone Financial in 2011 as Vice President of Consumer Lending. Prior to that, he was the Director of Lending, Mountain West Division of TCF National Bank, an $18 billion company. He advanced to Senior Vice President of Lending at TruStone Financial one year later. “I am pleased to announce the welldeserved promotion of Hans Iverson,” said Chief Executive Officer, Tim Bosiacki. “I am confident he will make significant contributions to the advancement of our organization,” said Bosiacki. “His outstanding leadership and refreshing business acumen has helped us prosper in recent years.”

Prior to being named Chief Operating Officer, Iverson’s primary focus was the growth of consumer and commercial lending. He will transition to his role in early January, handing lending responsibility to recently hired Chief Business Officer, Steve Steen. The Chief Operating Officer position was held by Jim Stahlmann, who is transitioning into retirement in April 2014. “As TruStone Financial has grown over the past few years, I have learned that regardless of my role, the focus must be on our members, employees, culture, vision and future,” said Iverson. “I look forward to building upon the momentum that we have created and expect to provide the innovative product offerings and game-changing growth strategies our members and staff have come to count on.”

Iverson received his Bachelor of Arts in finance from University of Minnesota – Duluth. He is married and has two children. He was recently named one of Credit Union Times’ Trailblazer 40 Below award recipients.
