PLYMOUTH, Minn. (Sept. 23, 2016) – TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union celebrated the opening of its newest branch in Northeast Minneapolis with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, September 23, 2016.
“In seeing how TruStone Financial has been involved in Minneapolis at large, I’m thrilled to see their investment in our community,” said Minneapolis Councilman Jacob Frey. “They will undoubtedly be a great addition to our neighborhood for years to come.”
The new location is a vital addition driven by membership need, accessibility and credit union growth. Ceremony attendees included TruStone Financial leadership and local dignitaries.
“As your neighborhood credit union, TruStone Financial strives to stay connected with the communities we call home,” said TruStone Financial Chief Business Officer Steve Steen. “By remaining part of Northeast Minneapolis, TruStone Financial will continue to engage in the lives of our valued members and the community as a whole.”
More than 36,000 residents belong to the Northeast Minneapolis community and, of those, many were TruStone Financial members before the branch was established in its new location. While TruStone Financial has held a presence in this community for some time, the improved location of the branch will give the credit union an opportunity to better serve members.
“This branch not only implements innovative banking technology, but offers our valued members in Northeast Minneapolis more convenient banking options than ever before,” said Chief Executive Officer Tim Bosiacki.
The location at 527 Central Avenue NE, Suite 2, Minneapolis, Minnesota opened for business on Monday, August 22, 2016. Community members are welcome to tour the new location during normal business hours.
