Plymouth, Minn. (October 21, 2014) – Credit Union Journal has recognized TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union as one of 2014 Best Credit Unions to Work For.
“Knowing our employees love where they work gives me a great deal of pride,” said CEO Tim Bosiacki. ”I am honored to have TruStone Financial acknowledged for being a top workplace.”
The Credit Union Journal partnered with Best Companies to identify 30 credit unions that have excelled in creating quality workplaces for employees. Selection for the award included a voluntary, confidential employee survey which focused on all aspects of working for the credit union, including wages, benefits and level of satisfaction.
TruStone Financial believes that finding – and keeping – quality employees requires more than just a competitive salary and benefits package. The credit union encourages ongoing education through tuition reimbursement and has an in-house training team tasked with keeping employees up-to-date on the latest regulations and product offerings. TruStone Financial also recognizes employees for their outstanding work through internal reward programs like the KeyStone Club and TruService, which acknowledge employees who meet and exceed sales goals and top scores in service skills, respectively.
The credit union also recognizes the importance of volunteerism and community involvement. Employees participated on behalf of TruStone Financial at more than 80 community events demonstrating how placing importance on philanthropic activities creates a work environment staff can be proud of while also bettering the communities the credit union serves.
