Welcome Volunteers
Thank you for representing TruStone at the 2025 3M Open!

Welcome, TruStone Springs Volunteers
As a TruStone Springs volunteer, you’ll help hydrate fans and bring energy to the 14th Green. Here’s what to know before you go—what to wear, where to park, and what to expect while you’re onsite.
Volunteers will hand out co-branded water bottles and welcome guests to our shaded station at the TruStone Springs. We will need to apply a sticker onsite to the bottom of each bottle that indicates “hand wash only.” It’s important to note that the bottles are not washed, so each person should rinse out prior to use. If you run out of stickers, there are more inside the 3M Open Volunteer Station or let one of the TruStone Marketing team members know. This is a fun event and we will not be handing out any other marketing material.
Let’s make a splash at TruStone Springs!
You will be provided a co-branded TruStone Financial and 3M Open golf shirt. Pants, shorts, skirts and skorts are suggested (no jeans). Wear comfortable shoes. There will be shade at the activation area. However, be sure to bring any extra items, as needed–such as a windbreaker, hat/visor, sunscreen, sunglasses, and umbrella depending on the weather forecast.
Cap/Visor. Volunteers are not required to wear the provided 3M Open cap/visor in your bag, but if you are going to wear a hat, we ask that it is 3M Open branded or does not have a logo. (We don’t want people wearing hats with other golf course logos and competing brands.)
Yes, the tournament will only allow opaque bags that are smaller than 6” X 6” X 6” and clear bags smaller than 12” X 6” X 12”. All bags will be subject to be searched. Click HERE to learn more about the PGA TOUR bag policy and prohibited items.
Gates will open approximately 30 minutes before play starts. Visit 3MOpen.com for more information on daily start times.
Fans are not allowed to re-enter the tournament grounds once they have exited for the day. Fans with hospitality tickets are able to come and go from their designated hospitality venue as they choose throughout the day after completing the venue’s check-in process.
At the 3M Open, kids 15 and under are admitted FREE of charge (grounds access only) when entering with a paying adult thanks to Cub. Kids 2 years of age and older MUST have a valid designated ticket to enter hospitality venues. Please assign them a digital ticket from your allocation.
Get familiar with the PGA TOUR weather alert scale. Observe the electronic scoreboards throughout the golf course for “Weather Warning” information. In case of a course evacuation, please follow PGA TOUR and 3M Open social media channels for updates.
Players have until 5:00pm EST on the Friday of the week preceding the tournament to officially commit to playing in the 3M Open. The 3M Open is a full-field PGA TOUR event with 156 players competing at TPC Twin Cities. Follow 3M Open social media channels to stay up to date on player commitments.
One redeemable voucher at concession areas on the day of your shift. Someone from the TruStone marketing team will give you a voucher when you arrive for your shift.

- Volunteer Lot. Volunteers are shuttled to and from the volunteer parking lot at Blaine HS. Buses run every 10-15 minutes. This is also the same parking lot to park for your two extra tickets you receive for volunteering at the TruStone Springs. Park at Blaine High School, 12555 University Ave NE, Blaine, MN 55449. No pass is needed for these school buses that run directly to and from the 3M Open office, right next to our activation area on the 14th green. ONLY Volunteers and the guests from the two free passes are allowed on this shuttle. Make sure you get off at STOP #2 (Volunteer gate is right next to the TruStone Springs), not STOP #1 (main gate). If you prefer to get off at the main gate, it would be a 5 minute walk to the 14th green. You can take the shuttle back from either the Volunteer or Main gate – just watch what bus you get on.
- Ford General Parking. If you or your guests drive a Ford, there is an additional FREE parking lot for you. Simply drive your Ford vehicle to the General Parking lot. All Ford vehicles park for free and do not require a pass. You will be dropped off/picked up at Main gate. Your volunteer credentials allow you enter and leave at the main gate as well.
- Other Lots. You are welcome to park at other PAID parking lots if you choose not to park at the FREE volunteer parking lot. Your volunteer credentials allow you enter and leave at the main gate as well.
