Hey, it happens.
There might come a time when you lose track and overdraw on your account. No worries, especially if you line up one of our four overdraft protection plans.
Your Options.
- Automatic Savings Transfer1
This plan is simple. It links your checking with your savings so if you overspend then the amount is covered from that account. - Line of Credit Transfer1
If you have a TruStone credit line, then overdrafts are pulled from that money2 to prevent any penalties. - Standard Overdraft Privilege2
You can overdraw as much as $1,000 with this plan, along with a $30 fee per-overdraft. - Extended Coverage Overdraft Privilege2
This route is like Standard Privilege with some more bells and whistles.
Your Checking Choices.
Overdraft options: You may opt out of Overdraft Protection and Overdraft Privilege at any time by calling us at 800.862.1998, or stopping by a branch.
1. Overdraft Protection is free to use and includes savings and line of credit transfers. Subject to credit approval. See terms and conditions for minimum withdrawal and available balance requirements.
2. Overdraft Privilege is $30 per overdraft. There is a limit of six overdraft fees we will charge you for overdrawing your account per day. The amount of any overdraft including fees you owe us shall be due and payable immediately. We may elect not to pay items under Overdraft Privilege if you do not maintain your account in good standing by bringing your account to a positive balance within every 30-day period for a minimum of 24 hours, if you default on any loan or other obligation to TruStone Financial or if your account is subject to any legal or administrative levy. The credit union, at its discretion, can cancel this protection and cease paying overdrafts at any time without prior notice of reason or cause.
Standard Coverage includes ACH, checks, recurring debit card, online bill pay, teller window and internet/phone transactions.
Extended Coverage (Must opt in) includes ATM and one-time debit card transactions, in addition to transactions covered under Standard Coverage. Extended Coverage Overdraft privilege does not apply to minor accounts, trust accounts, special accounts and HSAs.
