New Card FAQs

New TruStone cards were mailed in February and Firefly cards will no longer work. As of March 1st, you should be using your new TruStone card(s) to access your accounts.
You should have received your new TruStone card(s) in February. If you did not receive your new TruStone
card(s), please stop into any branch location for an instant issued card or contact us at (800) 862-1998.

Cards were mailed over a span of several days. If you have multiple cards within the same household, they may arrive at different times. If you didn't receive your new card(s), please stop into any branch location for an instant issued card or contact us at (800) 862-1998.

New TruStone credit and debit cards will earn rewards points for both PIN and signature based transactions. Any unredeemed ScoreCard® Rewards points will be available on your TruStone card(s) on or around April 1st.

TruStone credit and debit cards have tap to pay technology for a quick and convenient payment option.

TruStone credit cards have no annual fee, no balance transfer fees, and no foreign transaction fees.
You should have securely set your PIN when you activated your new TruStone card. You will no longer need to wait for it to arrive in the mail.

You will be able to select your PIN when you activate your card.
Your new debit and credit card(s) feature secure EMV chip technology, tap to pay, fraud monitoring, and 24/7/365 support.
SecurLOCK™ Equip is no longer be available effective February 28th.
Yes, you will need to provide your new TruStone card number and expiration date for any existing payments that you have set up using your Firefly debit or credit card.

Rewards FAQs

Yes! TruStone cardholders will earn rewards points through CURewards. You will continue to earn rewards with every transaction. Begin accessing these points in early March in digital banking.
CURewards is a free program in which you automatically earn points with every PIN or signature based transaction using your TruStone Rewards Credit & Debit Card. Rewards points can be redeemed for cash back, gift cards, travel, merchandise, and more.
You automatically start earning rewards points whenever you use your card(s). Points are earned on credit and debit cards for both PIN and signature based transactions.
Yes! CURewards points can be redeemed for cash back, gift cards, travel, merchandise, and more.
Good news! Any unredeemed ScoreCard® Rewards points will transfer over to your CURewards profile on or around April 1st. You will be able to redeem these points through CURewards once they are available in your point balance.

Tap To Pay FAQs

Tap to pay is a quick and secure contactless payment option. Tap to pay uses short-range wireless technology to make secure payments between a contactless card or payment-enabled device and a contactless-enabled checkout terminal. When you tap near the Contactless Symbol, your payment is sent for authorization.
Tap to pay is safe and helps you avoid touching other surfaces at checkout. Tap to pay is easy, one quick tap is all it takes! Tap to pay is secure, each transaction is accompanied by a one-time code that protects your information.
The Wi-Fi-looking symbol on a debit or credit card indicates that your card can be used to tap to pay on a contactless-enabled payment terminal.
If your Visa card features the Contactless Symbol on either the front or back, you can use it to tap to pay at many of your favorite merchants that also have this indicator at checkout.
Yes. Tap to pay with your contactless card is safe and helps you avoid touching surfaces at checkout. It’s also secure because just like the trusted security of EMV chip technology, each transaction is accompanied by a one-time code that protects your payment information.

To make a payment, your contactless card must be placed within 1-2 inches of the Contactless Symbol located on the checkout terminal in order for the sale to take place (so you can’t pay accidentally). And don’t worry, even if you tap twice, you won’t be charged twice.
Look for the Contactless Symbol at checkout, then, when prompted, simply tap your card over the Contactless Symbol. Once your payment is confirmed, you’re good to go!
Yes. If you don’t want to use tap to pay or you don’t see the Contactless Symbol at checkout, you can still swipe or insert your contactless card, just like any other card.
Tap to pay can be used at many of your favorite places, like fast-food restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, vending machines and more. Just look for the Contactless Symbol at checkout.
Just one to two seconds and you’re all set!
Yes. You can tap to pay at millions of places around the world, wherever you see the Contactless Symbol.

 
 


Visa Secured Credit Card FAQs

TruStone’s VISA® Secured Credit Cards will not earn rewards points.
If you also have a debit card under that membership, any unredeemed ScoreCard® Rewards points will transfer over to your CURewards account.

If you do not also have a debit card, please log in to ScoreCardRewards.com to check your point balance (or create a profile if you haven’t already) and redeem any available rewards points by February 28th, or you will no longer have access to these rewards points.
