TruStone High School Scholarships
To apply, just fill out the application and answer a tie-breaker question. Applications are submitted through a secure online scholarship platform — Blackbaud YourCause. You’ll be prompted to create an account or sign in if you are already a user. Keep your login credentials! You can return to monitor the status of your request and receive important updates. Applications accepted April 1-May 1.

Have questions about applying for high school scholarships?
We’ve answered some of the most common questions below to help you understand eligibility, application requirements and important deadlines.
We offer both member and community scholarships (membership not required). For our member scholarships, applicants must either be a TruStone Financial member or the child of a current TruStone member at the time of application. We also partner with 48 local high schools to award a deserving graduating senior at each school a scholarship award (membership not required).
Eligible applicants must be high school seniors (or recent graduates with an equivalent certification) who plan to enroll in post-secondary institution or enlist in the U.S. military following graduaiton.
Non-member applicants must attend one of 40 eligible high school within the Minnesota State High School League or eight Wisconsin-area partner high schools. Please review the full list of qualifying schools to confirm eligibility.
Applicants should be prepared to submit an application along with supporting materials such as academic records, achievements, and information about leadership, activities and work experience.
Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, extracurricular activities and work experience. Applicants may also be asked to provide transcripts for review.
Yes. Scholarships can be used at any accredited two- or four-year college, university, technical, or vocational school in the United States, or for U.S military service.
Scholarship funds are awarded for one academic year and are paid directly to the educational institution.
