Richard "Fritz" Wurzer Memorial Scholarship
Sometimes adult education is to further a current profession, while other times it’s to pursue something brand new. We think it’s wonderful, and it’s why we established the Fritz Wurzer Memorial Scholarship for Adult Education. Fritz was MPR radio host Cathy Wurzer’s dad, and he personified persistence, integrity and commitment to his family, his friends, his faith and to whatever job needed to be done.
To apply, just fill out the application and answer an essay question. Applications are submitted through a secure online scholarship platform — Blackbaud YourCause. You’ll be prompted to create an account or sign in if you are already a user. Keep your login credentials! You can return to monitor the status of your request and receive important updates. Applications accepted April 1-May 1.

Some Eligibility Details.
This program supports adults who are pursuing education opportunities after being in the workplace. Scholarships are awarded based on the satisfactory completion of an essay question. The number of scholarships awarded is dependent on the amount of donation dollars raised. You can get all the details with a simple click.
