The Foundation's Purpose

TruStone Financial Credit Union founded the TruStone Financial Foundation in 2009 to reinforce its commitment to financial education. Today, the Foundation supports Minnesota and Wisconsin communities with education scholarships, donations to local non-profits, support for financial literacy programs and more.

2020 Giving

  • $100,000 donated to support racial equity and inclusivity in our communities. The Foundation donated to three non-profit organizations as part of its Racial Equity and Inclusivity Grant.
  • $15,000 in scholarships awarded to 12 graduating high school seniors.
  • $14,000 donated to Minnesota and Wisconsin food shelves. Each TruStone Financial branch partnered with the TruStone Foundation to donate $1,000 to a local food shelf.
  • $25,500 of employee donations to charity matched. Through Casual For A Cause, a company-wide fundraiser, employees donate to a select non-profit each month. Some of last year's non-profits included the Hope Council, Special Olympics, Highland Friendship Club and more.
